Congratulations Sadhbh Kelly (Jamestown Park), Luke & Charlotte Hurley (Woodlands),
Amber Preston (Kentsfield), Conor Duffy (Woodland Manor),
Ella Clarke (Coill Beag) and Conor Shirley (Steeplechase Green) who were baptised recently.
The Parish Choir will resume rehearsals after their Summer break on this Tuesday evening, 5th September at 8.30pm. They meet every Tuesday evening at 8.30pm and sing at the 12.15pm Mass on Sundays and other important days in the year. New members are always welcome.
If you are interested, call the parish office or just come along on Tuesday nights.
Eucharistic Ministers and Readers: If you would be willing to serve as a Eucharistic Minister or Reader of the Word of God, we would be delighted to have you to assist us at our Masses.
If you are new to the parish and have served as a Eucharistic Minister or Reader in your pervious parish, why not join our parish group.

A meeting of the Children’s Liturgy Committee will take place on Wednesday 6th September in the Parish Pastoral Centre at 8.00pm. Masses for Foreign Nationals will be celebrated in Ashbourne Church on
Sunday 10th September at 6.00pm in the Lithuanian Language;
Sunday 17th September at 8.00pm in Polish and on
Sunday 24th September at 4.00pm for the people from Kerala, India
A sum of money was found in the Parish Cemetery last Sunday afternoon. Owner can collect it from the parish office.

The Official Opening of Ratoath Community Centre
The Official Opening of Ratoath Community Centre by President Mary McAleese will take place next Saturday 9th September.
The day will begin at 12.30pm with a children’s open air disco, face painting, traditional Irish music and many more activities. The President will arrive at 4.00pm and the day will end with an open air concert featuring Eamon Toal and Angela Shanny at 5.30pm.
Have you 2 or 3 hours to spare next Saturday 9th September for the official opening of Ratoath Community Centre? We need 10 people to assist with catering in the Festival Marquee; 20 people for car park duties and 10 people to assist with marshalling duties. If you can help, please call to the Centre on Thursday evening at 8.00pm or phone 6895600.

Ratoath Parent & Toddler group is recommencing on Monday 4th September between
10.00 am and 12 noon in Ratoath Community Centre. The group will now meet on Monday & Thursday mornings. All parents/carers with pre school children are very welcome.
The Academy & Agency of Performing Arts is calling boys and girls aged 3-20 years interested in Dance, Drama and Singing to join us in the Community Centre every Saturday.
Fun and inspiring classes are provided in a professional environment where students can build confidence and develop as individuals. Students are encouraged to do Acting & Singing examinations with R.I.A.M. and L.A.M.D.A. but they are not compulsory. Credits to date include the Late Late Toy Show 2004 & 2005, The Den RTE, Dublin St. Patrick’s Parade, with many students taking part in professional productions and our yearly shows.
