Congratulations to Ceilim Ryan (Jamestown Park), Sophie Hearns (Woodlands),
Lee McCann- McKeon (Sutherland), Ruby Daly (Jamestown Park) and
Aaron McEvaney (Seagrave Hall) who were baptised recently.
Please pray for Con Colfer (Raystown) and Baby Killian McDonnell (Somerville) and Baby Ilana Warren (Woodlands) who died during the week. May they rest in peace.
The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes this Thursday and Friday.
We are hosting two social evenings this week for all our parishioners who distribute the church envelopes for us, for those who collect the weekly envelopes and for those who take up the basket collection for us at the weekend Masses. We thank all who have given so generously of their time to this work and we look forward to seeing you on either Wednesday 29th or Thursday 30th November at 8.30pm in the Parochial House.

What would Jesus say today, in the face of racial tensions, terrorism,
human rights violations, wars with countless people dead and hurt?
Would he not say, “ Love one another”? What matters is to bring love to
the world. But make no mistake. Love is not an easy way out. It asks for demanding and resolute action that has the power to transform the world.
Chiara Lubich (Blessed are the Peacemakers)
A sense of how extraordinarily happy I have been, of enormous gratitude to my creator, overwhelms me often. I believe with passionate, unshakeable conviction that, in all circumstances and at all times, life is a blessed gift; that the spirit which animated it is one of love and not hate or indifference, of creativity not destruction, of order not chaos.
Malcolm Muggeridge (1903-90)
