Parish Mission
“Time with God, Time for Me”.
Our Prayer Card:
O Dear Lord,
three things I pray: To see thee more clearly, Love thee more dearly: follow thee more nearly;
Day by Day.
Our three week parish mission begins today. This is a very special time for all our parishioners, as the title of our mission suggests, it gives all of us a chance to give a little special time to God and to ourselves. We invite you to take the prayer card and to place it in your wallet or on the dash board of your car or on the fridge and to pray the simple prayer and remind yourself of the importance to take quality time for yourself and for God.
The school mission team will arrive this Sunday afternoon. On the first week they will be working in Ratoath Senior National School and
Rathbeggan National School and on the following week they will be in Ratoath Junior National School and St. Paul’s National School.
They will lead the children in a variety of activities to explore the message of the gospel, using drama, dance, mime, song and prayer.
Parents will be invited to come and see what the children learned during the week in the presentation evenings that will be held in the church.
The Visitation team will arrive in the parish on Saturday next
10th February. They will be here for 8 to 9 days.
We thank all who have volunteered to accompany a member of the visiting team to the homes of the parish.
On week three, the preached mission will begin.
It will be from Tuesday 20th February to Sunday 25th February.
Congratulations to Jamie Everard (Glascarn Lane), Eabha Brown (Leigh Valley), Ronan Prendergast (Mill Tree Park) and Olivia Rooney (Bodeen) who were baptised recently.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday 7th February 2007 at 2.30pm in
