Opening hours for the Parish Office:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9.30am– 4.pm
Please pray for Helen Kelly (Clonmel), mother of Jim Kelly (Fairyhouse Lodge), who died during the week. May she rest in peace.
An excerpt from the Lenten message of Pope Benedict XV1
“Let us live Lent, then, as a "Eucharistic" time in which, welcoming the love of Jesus, we learn to spread it around us with every word and deed. Contemplating "him whom they have pierced" moves us in this way to open our hearts to others, recognizing the wounds inflicted upon the dignity of the human person; it moves us in particular to fight every form of contempt for life and human exploitation and to alleviate the tragedies of loneliness and abandonment of so many people.”
Trocaire Boxes
Please support the work of Trocaire, the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland.
Trocaire Boxes should be returned to the baskets at the back of the church at all Masses next weekend. (Palm Sunday)
We pray for Trocaire and its continuing work on our behalf throughout the world. We pray especially for people with whom Trocaire works, especially those who, through poverty and injustice, are denied a fully human life.

Our Lenten Cross
This week we introduce Our Lenten Cross for the next two weeks of Lent
“Ours were the suffering he bore, Ours the sorrow he carried”
During these two weeks, you can place a peg on the cross to symbolise a worry, anxiety, suffering or illness you or your family carry at this time or you can remove on of the pegs from the cross, committing yourself to pray during the week for the needs of the person who placed the peg on the cross. |
