Cemetery Sunday
A reminder that Cemetery Sunday is on Sunday 27th May beginning with evening prayer for the dead at 5.00pm in the church, followed by rosary and blessing of the graves.
Meath Diocesan Choir resumes rehearsals shortly and is delighted to welcome all those with even the slightest interest in singing to become a member of the choir. The choir, formed in 1999, continues to flourish and expand its membership, which now comprises 140 members from the various churches throughout the diocese. Our rehearsals take place in Navan and Mullingar to facilitate both ends of the diocese. Prospective members can rest assured that rehearsals are conducted in a relaxed and easy manner and the number of rehearsals is kept to a minimum. The choir is particularly interested in acquiring new men to its ranks. Forthcoming rehearsals will concentrate on the revision of our wide repertoire of church music. So a great time to join. First rehearsal May 8th in St. Finian’s College Mullingar or May 14th in Dowdstown House, Navan at 8pm. For more information contact Phil at 01-6286931 or Marguerite at 01-8251009 after 6.30pm
Lithuanian Mass St Mary’s Church, Navan on Thursday 3rd May at 8.00pm Confessions from 7.30pm. All are welcome.
