Fairyhouse Lodge, The Old Mill, Glascarn Lane, Commons Road, Mullinam Lane, Ballybin, Ashbourne Road, Peacocktown Estate, Kilrue Lane and Crushen Road
Residents of these areas are especially invited to the Hour of Prayer (8.30pm – 9.30pm) on Wednesday evening, even if it is only for ten minutes. All are welcome to the hour of prayer.
Reflections from the Saints
Unhappy is the soul enslaved by the love of anything that is mortal. St. Augustine
The finite things of this world will satisfy human longings, but it is only the infinite (God) who can fill the human heart. Pope Benedict XVI
Christ does not force our will. He takes only what we give him. But He does not give himself entirely until He sees that we yield ourselves entirely to Him. St. Teresa of Avila
The Christian life is the continuation and completion of the life of Christ in us. We should be so many Christs on earth; continuing his works, labouring and suffering in a wholly divine manner in the spirit of Jesus. St. John Eudes
I am not capable of doing big things, but I want to do everything, even the smallest things, for the greater glory of God. St. Dominic Savio
Put your trust solely in God, so that even if you were to lose everything you would find all in Him! St. Magdalene of Canossa
The dying Saviour on the cross is a friend who will not terrify you, who will not abandon you. Hope in him, and heaven is yours! St. Joseph Cafasso
Our whole business, therefore, in this life is to restore to health the eye of the heart, whereby god may be seen. St. Augustine
The more you pray, the easier it becomes. The easier it becomes, the more you will want to pray. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta
