Ordination: This weekend we congratulate Joe Campbell as he is ordained a priest in Rosemount parish. We wish him every blessing and look forward to his ministry amongst us in the diocese. We pray that other young men will consider becoming a priest to join with Joe in sharing the Gospel in our society.

The Irish College, Rome is running a new course specifically for lay people entitled “Return to the Source – rediscovering the meaning of our baptism”. It will take place from 18 to 24 July and will be facilitated by Fr Michael Drumm (Diocese of Elphin; Executive Chairperson of Catholic Schools Partnership). Lectures, liturgies and visits to significant sites in Rome will combine to deepen an appreciation of the sacraments and a rediscovery of the meaning of baptism. World Youth Day Madrid 2011: The next World Youth Day for young adults (18-35) will take place next year in Madrid. The preparations begin now. Dunshaughlin & District Historical Society have organised a 1916 guided walking tour of Dublin on Sunday 27th June 2010. The group will be meeting at The Ambassador at the top of O' Connell Street for an 11.30am start. Duration of tour approx. 1 1/2 hours. Cost is approx. €10 each for tour. The group will be having lunch afterwards in Dublin - This tour is open to everyone - members and non members of all ages.
