Congratulations to Daniel Boucher (Fox Lodge Woods), Emily Stenson (Meadowbank Hill), Jack Clarke (Jamestown Park), Alannah Whelehan (Seagrave Hall), Evelyn Deering (Curragha Road) and Emily Foster (Moulden Bridge) who were baptised recently.
The sick and the housebound will be attended to in their homes on this Thursday and Friday.
Please pray for Maureen Moore (Ratoath Manor Nursing Home) who died during the week.
May she rest in peace.
Parish Liturgy Committee will meet on Wednesday 3rd May at 8.00pm in the Parochial House.
First Communion for the Second class boys and girls from Ratoath will take place next Saturday. There are three ceremonies, one at 10.30am, one at 12.15pm and one at 2.00pm.
We wish all the boys and girls and their families and friends every good wish and blessing for the day.
Good News for Ratoath Junior National School:
The Minister for Education and Science has announced that the long awaited extension to the Junior School (six new classrooms, renovation of some rooms in the existing building, an enlarged GP room, office facilities etc) is now to proceed to tender and construction. We thank the Principal, the Board of Management, the teachers, the Parents Association, the design team and our local public representatives who have worked so hard to progress this project to this stage.
Anointing of the Sick:
The annual anointing of the sick will take place at the 11.00am and 12.15pm Masses this weekend (30th April). If you know of any elderly, sick or infirm parishioners in your area, perhaps you could assist in bringing them to one of the Masses on Sunday.

Lithuanian Mass at the Parish Church Ashbourne on this Sunday 30th April at 6.00pm.
This year Cemetery Sunday will be on 21st May beginning with evening prayer for the dead in the Parish Church at 5.00pm followed by rosary and blessings of the graves.
A meeting of the Board of Management of Ratoath College will take place at 8.00pm in the Parochial House on Thursday 4th May.
Tai Chi Classes - Adults. Tai Chi classes for adults will commence in the Ratoath Community Centre on Wednesday 3rd May from 10.00am to 11.00am or Monday 8th May from 10.00am to 11.00am for eight weeks. Tai Chi is the art of movement and meditation which helps you to de-stress, relax and breath. A very nurturing course. Suitable to all age groups from 8 - 80. Alzheimer Tea Day in Ratoath Manor Nursing Home on Thursday 4th May from 11.00am to 2.00pm. All welcome.
On Saturday 6th May at Marie Ryan’s, Fox Lodge, Ratoath, a coffee morning in aid of the Alzheimer Society from 11.00am to 1.00pm. All welcome. Please come and bring a friend.
Open Day
You are cordially invited to visit Ratoath Community Centre’s Open Day on this Sunday 30th April from 12 noon to 3 .00pm. Members of the various groups, clubs and organisations who participate in the Centre will be on hand to welcome you.
Ratoath Athletic Club outdoor training has resumed at GAA grounds at Brownstown on Tuesday nights from 7-8pm. New members welcome. Juveniles must be 9 years of age this year.
Ratoath ICA AGM will be held on Tuesday 2nd May in the GAA Clubhouse Brownstown at 8.00pm. New Members welcome.
